Who is Swax?

Swax is a creative studio operating in art and visual communication. Our need for freedom and creative independence made us organize ourselves around multi-disciplinary activities and projects in the creative domains that interest us. Swax consists of a collective of creative professionals and business partners. Together, we work on a broad array of creative projects, satellite companies and productions. Below is a list of people who are working closely with Swax, or have been giving their invaluable input on Swax projects in the past.

Founder

Frank Bongers is the founder and driving creative force behind Swax. He supervises all Swax projects and works as an independent creative strategist/director/consultant for internal and external productions. Being a classical trained pianist & violinist aside from having studied graphic design, he has been producing several creative ventures since the creation of the Swax platform. Creative Core

Stefan Wellens works closely with Frank on several productions. Being a classical trained violist, he has been playing in several orchestral productions, with the movie scoring of Scorsese's "The Aviator" (with Leonardo Dicaprio) being the icing on the cake. Playing guitar has also been sequenced in his genes and regulary lends his writing skills to theater productions from D&A, De Spiegel and many more.

Peter Van Tichelen is associated with everything remotely connected to percussion. Being a extremely gifted drummer and percussionist, he has been asked to work for a variety of music productions like The Symphonic Orchestra of Luik, the musical "Snow White", Briskey Big Band and many more.

Hugh Buchanan is a close friend of Frank and a technical & structural partner for most of the Swax projects. Being founder and managing director of the usability consulting company Userfriendly LLC based in Los Angeles, he advises on software design and maintains the technical platform for Swax.
